Meet Attorney Jonathan Jackson

Jonathan Jackson

Founder & Principal Attorney

Attorney Jonathan Jackson is your community lawyer, fighting for accident victims across Texas and Oklahoma. After a short career in the NFL, Jackson traded the field for the courtroom and founded JJ Law in 2019. Since then, he has helped recover more than $70 million in compensation for over 1,000 clients.

Jackson founded JJ Law because he saw a need for a law firm that both serves the community and puts the client’s needs first. As Jonathan puts it, “Being able to help people when you find them at their lowest or during some of the worst times in their lives, being able to help them get back on their feet, get back healthy, and ultimately be able to get them compensation, is an awesome feeling.”

It's also personal in a different way. As a Black personal injury lawyer, Jackson explains, “I chose to be a personal injury attorney because it gave me the ability to help as many people as possible, as well as providing a lot of people from my community and my culture with access to justice.”

The Sneaker Lawyer

Known as “The Sneaker Lawyer,” Jackson combines his love for the law with a passion for sneakers and community service. He regularly volunteers and gives away sneakers at community events, along with giving away pairs to clients after a well-fought case. Whether he's in the courtroom or out in the community, he's dedicated to making a difference, one step at a time — and always in fresh kicks.
